Looking back on the year, I am excited and happy with how far S. A. Harris Music has come. I have to thank CJ Follette, Judy Clark & Beth Hall Designs for their wonderful assistance. We've been able to expand our footprint from only a Facebook Music Page this year, to a Website, Twitter, YouTube, G+, Apple Music, Jango Radio, Reverbnation and Soundcloud.
We've quadrupled my Fan Base, created a Newsletter and released the Steel Horse album on CD that can be found & ordered easily at s-a-harris.com. Fans are responding better than I expected and I couldn't be more inspired! We are posting YouTube videos of a song a month, so be sure to check those out! I've received several awesome fan reviews from all corners of the globe, and recent stats show my music is streaming in 40 states and at least 16 countries! While on Reverbnation, I'm currently ranked #3 in my region! My fans are all I could ever hope to have and I thank them! What's Coming from S. A. Harris Music: With cooler weather on the way, I will be working on a series of song ideas for 2016 that’s focus is all about Tone. SIRIUSXM will soon have S. A. Harris's Steel Horse album on genre appropriate programming play lists. We're working on a special limited time sales promo to correspond with the end of summer, as well as some interactive online stuff to get fans directly involved. Closing Comments: I've been a musician who's played music by ear for almost 40 years now. I truly love and enjoy music, both modern and from years gone by. You can't touch the music coming from your speakers, but you can feel it deep in your soul. It can make you laugh or cry, hurt or love. It's pure expression that no matter what language you speak, you understand it. I love that! Rock-n-Roll was born from Jazz, Gospel & the Blues, Born in America! It's pain and passion was what made Chuck Berry give the world his fiery riffs, it's what made Elvis sing and move as expressively as he did and where the pain came from in Stevie Ray's "The Sky is Crying". Is there anything else that speaks to our souls as openly and honest as music? That's why I play. Sincerely, S. A. Harris
